JR Meyers – President / Chief Executive Officer

After a successful career as one of the top producers at a noteworthy trading company in Portland, OR, JR followed his entrepreneurial spirit and founded Totem Steel, in 1998.

In the years since its founding, JR has led Totem from a small start-up with limited capital, to a robust international steel and wood products trading company with access to capital in excess of $100M.

Through JR’s deep relationships with customers and suppliers, many dating back decades, Totem is recognized as a leader in the Steel Industry.

Not content just building a successful business, JR continues to give back through his leadership as an Officer of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), as well as serving on a number of boards of charitable organizations.
